Ice-Breaker Tuesday: Tell me without telling me
Jun 13, 2023In today's Ice-breaker activity, we will discuss a fun activity you can easily do to help students use their critical thinking in a fun and engaging way. Learn more about it today!
This activity is called Tell me without telling me. You begin with the following phrase: “Tell me you’re a ____ without telling me you’re a ____” . The students then use a variety of clues, images or descriptions to share what they are without explicitly stating it. For RN-BS students (who are already practicing nurses) you could state “Tell me what type of nurse you are without telling me what kind of nurse you are”. The students would then share clues or find images that they feel represents the kind of nurse they are (pediatric, ICU, community, etc.). Then the class could try and guess who is who in a main discussion board.
This is a fun and versatile activity that can be done in a variety of ways.
