Ed Tech Tuesday: Padlet

In today's blog post, I'll be chatting about a great Ed Tech Tool called Padlet. I've heard great things about this tool and can't wait to share some great features of it today.

Padlet is a great tool for educators because it allows you to create virtual corkboards where you can pin content, ideas, or resources. This is a great way to collaborate with other educators or students because everyone can see the board and add their own content.

One of the things I love about Padlet is that it's so versatile. You can use it for an introductory activity, have students post ideas or resources, create a mind map, or even use it as a digital portfolio. The possibilities are endless!

The biggest feature of Padlet that is essential for online educators is the idea of collaboration. Community building in an online course is of paramount importance. Using a tool such as Padlet allows educators to see what resources or ideas students are sharing and also allows for discussion. This is a great way to get everyone involved and build a sense of community in your course.

Padlet also has an Internal search option that lets you explore other publicly available Padlets so you can see how other educators are using it also. They also provide pre-made templates so you can copy, edit, or remake any Padlet you admire to use as your own.
